Rama Cherukuri is chief architect for retail sectors of British Telecom. He has been instrumental in laying the architecture foundation and executing the integration of multiple end-end applications of BT for Retail and Open Reach platform.  In his past engagement at Verizon, Rama was responsible for architecture of the order management system for the Advanced Data services and Enterprise Fast Packet products. He directed the design and implementation of a real-time service based architecture to effectively manage end to end (E2E) process covering customer contact, ordering, provisioning, billing, and care systems leading to increased overall operational efficiency and improved customer experience. His achievements at Verizon included providing scalable high performance integrated systems solution to enable flow through automation for Enterprise Advanced and VOL products.

Rama holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and master’s degree in computer science from Kansas State University. He has over 13 years of experience in IT systems design in telecom and travel industry. At Verizon, Rama was a recipient of prestigious Verizon Excellence Individual and Team Awards (2001 & 2003) for creative and innovative contributions in the order management areas.  He has also worked extensively as consultant to international and domestic clients.

Dinyar Kavouspour has over 26 years of comprehensive architecture,
technology, planning and integration expertise; currently responsible
for architecture, standards and common tools for network, contact
management and desktop & server technologies. His prior assignments
include Sr. Executive at Verizon E-Commerce division, Assistant Vice
President GTE Systems Infrastructure and Sr. Director GTE Laboratories.
Dinyar did his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from University of
Southern California and Masters in Communications Engineering from SMU.
He also has 8 patents pending and two publications in IEEE.

Leo Chan joined Powernet Global Communications in June 2006 in Fairfield Ohio. Under Mr. Chan's leadership as Senior General Manager,Powernet Global has deployed wireless broadband networks using emerging technologies including WiMAX, WiFi and mesh networking. These networks are capable of offering voice over Internet protocol (VoIP)services and Internet protocol TV (IPTV) services.

Mr. Chan served as Director of Wireless Business Development at Hawaiian Telcom since June 2005. Under his leadership, Hawaiian Telcom has launched new service features that are local and personalized which separate Hawaiian Telcom's wireless service from ordinary mobile
virtual network operator (MVNO) businesses. He led the development and launched Hawaiian music ringtones and ringback tones that are exclusive to Hawaiian Telcom wireless customers, new calling features that cross over traditional circuit switch network and the new VoIP
technologies while combining best of both wire line and wireless, and prepaid services that are targeting multiple ethnic groups. At Hawaiian Telcom, he is also responsible for VoIP, IMS and IPTV
strategies and implementation.

Prior to joining Hawaiian Telcom, Mr. Chan served as Senior Product
Manager at Cincinnati Bell, Inc. At Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Chan was
responsible for the strategic planning, partnership, product development and product management activities of the Global Standards for Mobile Communications (GSM) network. Under Mr. Chan's leadership, Cincinnati Bell has launched new mobile data services including GSM/EDGE, location based services (LBS) and WiFi hotspots. Due to his accomplishments, Cincinnati Bell maintained the leading market share for postpaid and prepaid wireless, broadband and became the only RBOC that offers wide variety of advanced mobile data services including
BlackBerry solutions.

Prior to his four years tenure at Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Chan helped Telesystem Wireless International, France Telecom, Japan Tomen Group to invest, build and operate 3 regional GSM networks in partnership with China Unicom, Ministry of Electronics (now known as Ministry of Information Industry after merging with Ministry of Post &
Telecommunications) and South China Telecom Investment Co. from 1996 to 2000, working in Hunan and Guangdong provinces of China. Prior to that, he served as an investment banker at Bank of China handling equity investment in foreign currency.

Mr. Chan is a globally recognized insightful speaker to CTIA, ITEC, VON, Internet Telephony and MVNO Summit. Mr. Chan's article was published by Greater Dayton IT Alliance publication in February 2004. Mr. Chan graduated from Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages (now
known as Guangdong University of Foreign Affairs after merging with Guangdong Colledge of Foreign Trade) in 1994 majoring in international business. In 2001, Mr. Chan received an MBA degree from University of
Cincinnati. . Leo holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems from University of Cincinnati. Leo is also an ISO 9002 Lead Auditor certified by BVQI since 1997.

His team developed the concept analysis, the high level architecture and the purchase specifications for more than 80 projects in Business and Operations Support Systems segments. Due to this work, they gained the experience to develop of a group-wide E-SOA framework, coupled with the setup of a centralized infrastructure. The completion of numerous Pilot Projects and the release of reference guidelines allowed Telecom Italia Business Units to develop projects autonomously, by adhering to the shared framework and using central infrastructure components (Registry and WSM).

Current Responsibilities

 As a CTO of the Pros From Dover, an SOA consulting firm, Mr. Hull is responsible for development of technical products and intellectual property and for performing our proprietary SOA Audits for our clients. He is the author of our proprietary SOA development methodology.

Past Experiences

• As a Senior Architect at TelCove Communications, he supported the Chief Architect in the creation, implementation and deployment of a  highly successful  enterprise level services oriented  OSS architecture.
• As the President and Principal Engineer of Hull Software Systems, he has been a key contributor for distribute and SOA based systems for clients including FedEx, US West, MCI, Dynamics Research and the Principal Group.
• As the Software Architect for AT&T Broadband’s National Access System, he was responsible for re-engineering  OSS  components, such as the National Access System.

Neeta Goel is President of Newt Global Consulting and has responsibility for
defining strategy for new business and setup offshore partnerships. In her
most recent past, she had been an architect and program manager in Verizon's
Information Technology Organization. She has been one of the lead architects
for end to end design for broadband ordering application platform for
Verizon's Fiber To The Premises (FTTP) initiative. She managed programs
involving cross-functional teams for many product launches for pricing and
ordering systems for enterprise and small business at Verizon. 

 

In her 18+ years of global IT consulting career, she has worked with diverse
teams in Japan, Singapore, India, US, UK to deliver IT solutions for complex
business scenarios. Her major experience has been in telecom OSS
applications, Sales & Distribution, product management, event management,
Payrol & Tax, Inventory management, asset management and financial systems
and migration of applications. She started her IT career as grass root
developer and worked as DBA, lead architect, analyst, Quality manager and
delivery manager. She has led strategic initiatives in capability
development such as setting up an R&D center for IT application teams. She
also developed competitive strategies to keep IT forces at cutting edge of
technologies by defining new processes for technology identification and
training. As part of global consulting team at NIIT, she was instrumental in
setting up delivery center in Philippines.

 

Neeta holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and masters in business
administration from FMS, Delhi University, India. She was awarded gold medal
in her MBA program.

Sivakumar Sitaraman is currently Sr. Manager for Production Support and Systems Performance
for all Retail Verizon Telecom applications.
Formerly he has held several positions within Verizon in managing various
support teams.  Prior to Verizon, he was part of Informix Corporation and
Limited Inc.  He has held various positions including Product Architect and
Database Administrator.

Sivakumar has masters degrees in engineering and also an MBA from Univ
Texas/Dallas.
